Who are we?
We are three friends who have been painting together for a long time and we regularly go on painting adventures.
It's always so much fun and every time we say the same thing: "We should bring more people with us because this place is so stunning"; or "We are enjoying ourselves so much we should share the joy". So, that's what we are doing!
We are putting together art retreats so that we can share the beauty and the joy with you.

Deborah CzerneckyDeborah Czernecky is a well seasoned Canadian Plein Air artist with 27 plus years experience of painting on location in all climates. The Canadian landscape, her “big back yard”, has provided a constant source of spiritual inspiration that generated her lifelong passion for nature that is reflected in

Sharlene StushnovSharlene is a Victoria artist. She finds great joy in the world around her and is in awe of the artistry of Mother Nature. She hopes to convey that feeling of joy to those who view her
paintings. Her palette can often be vibrant and exciting, as seen in her Canna paintings and high-key still lifes. At other times it can be more subdued, as with her driftwood paintings and landscapes. But always, it is about attempting to capture the essence of the moment. www.artbystushnov.com |
Marcela StrasdasMarcela is a Victoria BC artist who loves painting the beauty she sees around her. She is greatly inspired by her love of gardening, travelling and the ocean. "There is great inspiration in our everyday life. There are scenes to be painted everywhere I look. The secret is just to make time and do it."
