What supplies do I need?
Just your regular painting supplies. We will provide a list of suggested materials soon!
Note: Be sure to bring everything that you think you will need. We are sometimes in out of the way places and there may not be art stores nearby.

I don't have any outdoor painting gear, what should I bring?
Let us know and we will help you put an initial kit together.
Will we paint outdoors if the weather is bad?
We may still paint outdoors if the weather is not the best. It will be a personal decision. We do have access to an indoor space that we can use should we require it. (No turpentine please) Don't worry, you will be able to paint!
I have never painted plein air. Will there be a teacher?
While we are not offering instruction, there will be lots of peer support and encouragement. Some people in the group have been painting for many years and will be able to share their advice and experience.
Do I have to go to the same location the whole group goes to?
No. We like to keep things loosely structured and artists are free to choose where they wish to paint. However, WE believe that there is great value in painting with others. A list of some possible locations will be provided. Also, if not painting with the group and for safety reasons, it would be helpful to let us know the general area you will be in.
